To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department pursuant to the answer of 17 October 2011, Official Report, columns 648-9W, on entry clearances, what guidance she has issued to specialist colleges on the differing levels of fees required for accreditation required by the UK Border Agency.

We have brought in new requirements for sponsors to apply for an educational oversight inspection to one of the public review bodies. The fees are determined by the bodies themselves and are broadly set at a level to cover their costs. These bodies are providing guidance to colleges on the inspection process and the level of fee required.
