To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport how much his Department has spent on the (a) framing and (b) hanging of art from the Government Art Collection since May 2010.
Since May 2010 the Government Art Collection has spent £203,806 on framing and £13,136 on hanging works of art. Works of art are displayed in major British Government buildings, including Ministers' offices, embassies and ambassadors' residences, to promote British art and contribute to cultural diplomacy.
