To ask Her Majesty's Government whether consideration is being given to the award of posthumous Victoria Crosses to Sergeant Talaiasi Labalaba and Trooper Thomas Tobin for their bravery during the Battle of Mirbat.

No. At this distance from the event it would be wrong to question the assessments made at the time by the commanders intimately involved in reaching the decisions as to what honour, if any, should be awarded.
