The provision of greater access rights to non-resident parents and grandparents when couples separate will not be examined by the Children and Families Task Force. The question of child access rights following family separation is currently being considered by the Family Justice Review. The Review panel is due to produce an interim report in March 2011, which will be the subject of a public consultation. A final report is due to be published in autumn 2011.
