To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the funding of and provision of arms to the Lord's Resistance Army.

We have no verifiable information on the funding and provision of arms to the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). Anecdotal reports suggest however that the LRA has sustained itself through subsistence farming, pillage, preying on humanitarian assistance, brutal intimidation and killing of civilians and contacts with other regional militia groups.
