To ask the Minister of State, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills how much funding his Department is providing to the Learning and Skills Improvement Service in 2009-10; and what proportion this constitutes of the total budget of the Learning and Skills Improvement Service.

In 2009-10 BIS funding is expected to be around £98 million which represents 73 per cent. of the total LSIS income for the year.
