To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much and what percentage of its income the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust spent on servicing the Royal Blackburn Infirmary private finance initiative project in 2008.

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust spent £13.57 million on the Royal Blackburn Infirmary private finance initiative project in financial year 2008-09. This equates to 4.3 per cent, against turnover for that year.
