To ask Her Majesty's Government further to the Written Answer by Lord Adonis on 7 July (WA 147), why the Maritime and Coastguard Agency did not extend the period of validity for the existing passenger certificate for the MV "Canna" by one month when it discovered that the passenger certificate was out of date in September 2008.
