The UK does not provide specific assistance to the government of Afghanistan on the negotiation of trans-national contracts for the supply of raw materials. The World Bank is the main provider of such assistance in Kabul. The UK does however continue to work with the government of Afghanistan on wider cross-border trade issues, including by supporting fora such as the Regional Economic Cooperation Conference.
