To ask the Minister of State, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills how many cars had been purchased under the car scrappage scheme in (a) Leeds and (b) West Yorkshire at the latest date for which figures are available.

Using data based on the locations of dealerships and data for scrappage transactions which have been completed and vehicles delivered, there have been 1,109 completed scrappage transactions in Leeds and 4,135 in West Yorkshire.
