To ask the Minister of State, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills whether his Department has a strategy to encourage voltage optimisation on its estate.

This Department is in the process of submitting an application for Salix funding in order to install voltage optimisation equipment in its main building at 1 Victoria Street. On the basis of this installation being successful, we will encourage other bodies sponsored by the Department to do likewise.
