To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what budget his Department has allocated to tackle the spread of extremism on the web.

A wide range of work is being undertaken to prevent the spread of extremism including hate crime and terrorism on the web. Work is also being undertaken by the police. It is not possible to give comprehensive figures for the resources allocated to this.
