To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what progress his Department has made in the forthcoming round of Football Foundation funding allocation; and if he will make a statement.

Both the Government and Sport England remain completely committed to the ongoing work of the Football Foundation and continuing to invest £15 million a year.
However, any funding decisions beyond 2011 will be subject to the next comprehensive spending review.
The 2009-10 funding agreement between Sport England and the Football Foundation for this year's £15 million investment has been agreed.
