To ask Her Majesty's Government what further representations they have had from the MacFarlane Trust on the Department of the Health's response to the report of the Independent Public Inquiry, headed by Lord Archer of Sandwell, on contaminated blood products; and what reply is being sent to the trust's letter to the department of 9 September.

We have no letter from the Macfarlane Trust dated 9 September. We have a letter dated 2 September, which we are currently considering and will reply in due course. Additionally, representatives from the Macfarlane Trust met with officials from the Department of Health on 9 September to further discuss the implementation of the Government's response to Lord Archer's report.
