To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what assessment he has made of the implications of the recent Slough and Coventry court judgements for the provision of emergency support for vulnerable refused asylum seekers by local authorities.
The Department for Communities and Local Government has made no formal assessment of the court judgments. Refused asylum seekers are the responsibility of the UK Border Agency.
