To ask Her Majesty's Government whether the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport approved the job description for the county swimming co-ordinators before it was advertised.

The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport approved a proposal for the role of county swimming co-ordinators to be created. As part of the business case from the Amateur Swimming Association, a job description was included. This approval was given on 8 December 2008.
