To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what representations his Department has received from (a) the gaming industry and (b) local authorities on the deadline for premises licence applications in order to secure continuation rights.

Industry representatives have raised this issue informally with the Department. Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services (LACORS) supports the existing timetable and we have received no such representation from local authorities.
