To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government how much has been spent on the marketing and advertising campaign to promote home information packs and energy performance certificates which commenced on 25 March.

The total spend to date on the national marketing and advertising campaign to promote the home information pack that started on 25 March 2007 is £895,000. Of this, £825,000 has been spent on advertising and £70,000 on marketing.
