Communities and Local Government written question – answered at on 5 March 2007.
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government how many homes in Warrington, North have been included in the Government's decent homes scheme.
holding answer
We do not hold figures by parliamentary constituency but by local authority. In Warrington, there are 8,954 homes owned by the unitary authority and 3,812 by registered social landlords. All these homes are included in the decent homes programme and at present 2,017 council homes and 96 RSL homes are still below the decent homes standard.
The decent homes programme also covers non- decent homes in the private sector occupied by vulnerable households, but we do not hold these data at the local authority level.
