To ask the Scottish Executive what provision has been made for access to the Kessock Bridge for emergency services during any period of resurfacing.

Initial consultation has been carried out with the emergency services, including the police, ambulance and fire services and RNLI, and all will be consulted extensively during the scheme design process. Provision will be made to allow access through the works for emergency services at all times.
