Oral Answers to Questions — Home Department: Prison Population (3 Nov 1983): Ms Clare Short: ...prison in my constituency. The prison staff are greatly upset by that and have told me more than once that they find it distressing to have to lock up young people who are not even old enough to smoke. Is the Home Secretary satisfied that we are using prison resources properly when we lock up such young people in degrading conditions?

To search for an exact phrase, use quotes (""). For example to find only documents contain the exact phrase "Hutton Report":

To exclude a word from your search, put a minus ("-") sign in front, for example to find documents containing the word "representation" but not the word "taxation":
