Francie Brolly: I wish to make a point about the genesis of the ministerial code and my suspicions of it. It is important to realise that, elsewhere, Ministers generally come from the same party. Our circumstances are different here, and we should consider whether we should take on a code that may have had its genesis in a circling of the wagons by important members of one party in Westminster.
