  • 25 September-12 October 2003, to Australia with the All-Party Commons and Lords Rugby Club to participate in the third Parliamentary World Cup tournament, with rugby kit supplied by Nike. Members of the club benefited from sponsorship of £750 from Halewood International towards hotel and travel costs and the balance, which represented the majority of the costs, was paid personally.
