1. Remunerated directorships

  • Director (non-executive), Harrods Ltd. (This employment will not involve the provision of any services in my capacity as a Member of Parliament. I have voluntarily deposited an employment agreement in the interests of transparency.) In addition to retailing, business development in oil, gas, mining, e-commerce and satellite mapping.
  • Punch Ltd. (part of Harrods group); publishers of Punch magazine.
 

2. Remunerated employment, office, profession etc

  • Consultant to the St. Vincent Trust Service, providing advice on parliamentary and other matters in connection with the development of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. (£10,001-£15,000)
  • Occasional fees for articles, broadcasts and speaking engagements.
 

6. Overseas visits

  • 14-16 December 2000, to Rome accompanied by my wife, to stay in the residence of the Taiwanese Ambassador to the Vatican. We were the guests of the Ambassador and his wife at a Christmas concert in the Vatican. We paid our own travelling expenses. (Registered 28 November 2000)
