I support amendments 19 to 21 in the name of my hon. Friends, because the first line of clause 2(5) and clause 2(5)(a) provide that the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills can dispose of shares in “a Royal Mail company”, not “the Royal Mail company”. I shall focus on the use of the indefinite article in the clause.
