I am grateful for the fairly supportive comments from the hon. Member for East Surrey. He speculates as to who approached me in relation to hydropower. He is wrong—it was my hon. Friend the Member for Somerton and Frome (Mr. Heath), who is a great champion of hydropower in this House and who is very proud of telling me that his constituency may have no escalators, but it has lots of rivers.
