Clause 152
Coroners and Justice Bill
2:45 pm

Edward Garnier (Shadow Minister, Justice; Harborough, Conservative)
The Minister has been very generous both in her remarks just now and when dealing with other provisions in the Bill, particularly in relation to clause 11. I get the impression that she is not entirely confident that the Bill as it currently stands is as it should be. It might be that it has been drawn together from a number of different departments within her Ministry. If there are any other bits of the Bill that she is not entirely satisfied with, will she let us know, so that when we enter into the discussions that she has invited us to, we can have an agenda of things that the Government have put into the Bill that they would like to see taken out or amended? In that way, we will not waste the time of Mr. Gale, Mr. Cook and Officers of the House during the later stages of the Committee.
