I thank the hon. Gentleman for that question. I have to be honest and state that I do not have the precise figures. When the Minister responds, perhaps he will set out the projections for such a change. The new clauses still enable us to debate the principle of probationary citizenship and people’s perception of what a probationary citizen should be, matters to which I hope the hon. Gentleman will also respond.
