My hon. Friend makes a point, but has she considered this one? When donations are given by trade unions to political parties, that might not be known by the individuals concerned. For example, the other day, the hon. Member for Birmingham, Yardley (John Hemming) said that he had been recognised as a donor, although he had never knowingly been a donor. What would happen if he were made a commissioner under such circumstances?
