I am very grateful to the Minister, but I do not understand why the E.ON application at Kingsnorth does not come under subsection (1)(a) and is not required under subsection (5)(a) as it is the
“construction or extension of a generating station”.
The fact that it is using carbon capture is neither here nor there.
