Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Could I make an announcement about mobile phones? Would you please turn any mobile phones off? It is not sufficient to leave them on silent because even on silent they interfere with the sound system in this room. Could everyone therefore ensure that their mobile phones are turned off during this sitting?

I am very pleased to welcome Philip Jones and his colleague David Smith from the Energy Networks Association. Do you have any opening statement that you would like to make briefly or shall we proceed directly to questions?
