Planning Bill
11:00 am

Business can find itself on either side of major infrastructure projects, wanting to give evidence either for the importance of something being done quickly or for something not being done at all. So, I wonder if we can look at the practicalities of the Bill’s proposals. What effect do you expect the Bill to have on the time taken to decide on applications for major infrastructure projects? What do you expect to be the impact on the cost associated with such applications? On the other side of the equation, do you think that the Bill’s provisions for consultation with interested and affected parties and for taking responses into account are adequate? How do you think it will work?
