Then, of course, there are stem cells and so on, and pharmacogeneticsit is almost a continual processand the DNA database. There has never been a more important arena. More and more information is being brought to our notice. We need a place where people can contemplate and think about those issues and build them into hard science and medicine. I am glad to support the idea of a joint bioethics Committee in this place.
