In the Stockport part of my constituency, where they rejected stock transfer, one of the issues for tenants was the protection of their rights under the local authority and fears that they would not be protected following stock transfer. However, where transfer has taken place, do you think that the provisions in this Bill will strengthen tenants’ rights through Oftenant? Do you think that it will provide a level of protection not currently in place?
