For the information of the Committee, the weather in Macclesfield on Sunday was brilliant. We had blue skies over Macclesfield, as is appropriate. I took part in a seven-mile sponsored walk and it did me the power of good. I ended up with a pint of beer, which was very refreshing indeed.
