Clause 36
Energy Bill
1:00 pm

Martin Horwood (Shadow Minister (Environment), Environment, Food & Rural Affairs; Cheltenham, Liberal Democrat)
I am grateful for the Minister’s response. I was not aware of that effect. If it is the true explanation for the shortfall this year and it is a one-off effect, that is encouraging, but I would not mind, as well as the technical explanation that he has promised me, an analysis of the percentages over the past five years or for as long as the renewables obligation has been in existence, so that we can establish whether there is a trend.
