Energy from waste comes into the renewables obligation under the proposed bandings as part of the reference band. Can you tell me whether there are sufficient safeguards, under the current or proposed regime, on other environmental impacts, such as toxic waste, relating to energy from waste, and whether there is enough differentiation between types of incineration or energy from waste power generation?
