I have a great deal of sympathy with the importance of focusing on the needs of young carers. The hon. Gentleman might be interested to know that there are already pilot projects around the country involving young carers—there is one in my constituency sponsored by the Princess Royal Trust for Carers—which examine how the health and education needs of young carers can be identified and dovetailed more closely. That might be a useful way to proceed.
