The court might well give a suspended sentence, but, with respect, I am talking about a situation in which it gives a conditional discharge. I take the hon. Gentleman’s point that the court might well give a suspended sentence. Given that I have conceded that point, however, he must concede that it might also give a conditional discharge, in which case a serious crime prevention order would be appropriate.
