The hon. Gentleman is right. I do want to return to that, and to make it clear that this is the first time that my Department, or any of its predecessors, has ever rejected an ombudsman’s case. We have made it clear that we have great respect for her office, and there is no question of it becoming a habit. They are exceptional circumstances.
