I am aware that there are precedents on the issue of public interest cases and the recoverability of costs, although I would have thought that if ever there was a case with a clear public interest it would be this one. I do not want to read too much into it for the sake of the people on whose behalf I am essentially speaking, but I hope that what the Minister said will leave the door slightly ajar on the vexed issue of costs.
