Clause 10
Pensions Bill
4:00 pm

Sally Keeble (Northampton North, Labour)
If the hon. Gentleman is going to set out what people do and do not get out of the state system in return for the money that they put in, which is a perfectly proper thing to do, will he say what income those people are likely to receive from their other pensions; and also the tax relief that they will obtain on the contributions to their private pensions, because if we are looking at how the state supports people in retirement it is important to look at the whole picture so that we can make a judgment on the whole picture. I should be very interested to hear the other calculations.
