Welcome to the Chair, Mr. Gale. I am grateful to the hon. Gentleman for giving way and glad that we are having a constructive debate. Does he acknowledge that, as I said at the end of my comments, my proposal was not the £400 million cost that he has cited, but a far more modest proposal only to uprate the frozen pensions from here on in, which could be done initially at a much lower cost than he suggests?
