That is indeed right. A future amendment will deal with emergency situations. We are not looking to take away the powers of a clinician to administer such treatment in an emergency. If a decision had to be made in life-threatening circumstances, we would not want to overrule a clinician’s opinion. I hope that the Committee will regard the amendment as helpful. It would give further assurances that children received appropriate treatment—a form of treatment that is probably the most invasive that we have discussed so far in Committee.
