Does the hon. Gentleman agree with me on two points? First, it was a good thing for the Mayor to take responsibility—it cost each taxpayer about 2p to ensure an extra 89 British Transport police on the railways. Secondly, when the Opposition were in power and broke up the railways, it hindered the current safety of our stations.
