May I express the hope that every member of Standing Committee A had an enjoyable Easter recess; that it was restful; and that you have come back to this hothouse of debate duly recharged and ready for the fray for the next five weeks before we break again for the Whitsun spring bank holiday recess. We had made relatively good progress by the last sitting.
