On a point of order, Mr. Pope. With regard to the specific amendments moved by the major and minor Opposition parties, will you advise the Committee whether those of us who are married to magistrates should declare an interest or recuse ourselves from voting on the subject? As the hon. Member for Hornsey and Wood Green just stated, there is an element of financial recompense for justices of the peace, and that may be seen as a material benefit.
