Finance (No. 2) Bill
Public Bill Committees, 9 May 2006

Andrew Selous (Whip, Whips; South West Bedfordshire, Conservative)
On a point of order, Mr. O’Hara. I have spoken to some of the members of the public who listened to our deliberations this morning. They have told me that in these long Committee rooms, it is quite difficultfor them to hear. I wonder whether through you,Mr. O’Hara, the Committee would agree to allow them to move to the end of the first gangway, so that they could hear us a bit better.

Edward O'Hara (Knowsley South, Labour)
That seems a reasonable request. We could move the notional bar forward to just beyond the table, and perhaps arrange next week to have a physical bar. If there are no objections to that, I invite members of the public to move forward.
