I am sorry to interrupt the right hon. Lady again but I want to be absolutely clear. Why is a written test or an interview more subjective than an audition? Let us for a moment buy the right hon. Lady’s argument that there is an innate propensity in children: an inner capacity to learn languages. Why is an audition more or less subjective in her terms than an interview or a written test?
