I want to be clear about what the hon. Lady means. Is she saying that she is against some kind of test of people’s commitment to the ethos of a faith school, or that the test must be a certain one—the people must be not just on the way to heaven but already saved? They must be real Christians or not Christian at all. Is that the gist?
